		<description>ok...so maybe you'll need a good amount of redundancy, so that even if your own client side database goes down, your contacts are still somewhere else...spread across many other clients just like typical p2p networks.

overall, neat concept. hope to see something concrete soon :)</description>

I agree with you, but there is a reason why the first implementation will be client side.

This project is something I am building for free and all costs are out of my pocket. Therefore, I'm setting up a model where it is capable of growing into the millions of users without additional investment from me. Plus, I am planning on creating a method were users can import/export their contacts easily.

If it is successful, the decentralized nature of it will allow anyone to create hosted web services if they want to.</description>

		<description>hmm...sounds good..but why a *client* side database? i think server side is the way to go, atleast as far as databases are concerned. you don't want your social networks to be left behind when you switch computers, or even browsers for that matter.</description>
